No. Only eligible models will be accepted for trade-in value. At this time, through this Reuse and Recycling Program, eligible iPhone models are iPhone 4, iPhone 4s and iPhone 5; eligible iPad models are iPad 2, iPad 3rd generation, iPad 4th generation and iPad mini. Are there any new purchase requirements for trading in my device?

No. You do not have to buy a new device to participate in this on-line program, however you will be compensated for the trade in value via an Apple Store Gift Card, which will be sent to you electronically. |

Can I trade-in at an Apple retail store? Are there any differences?

You are welcome to trade-in your eligible device through any Apple Retail store. You will receive instant credit, and you must purchase a new device at that time. If the new device costs less than the trade-in value, the extra will be paid to you as an Apple Store Gift Card. |

How is the value determined for my device?

The value is determined by the model type, carrier lock (if applicable), and device condition. The value will also be impacted if the Find My device lock feature is activated. |

Why does an iPhone value depend upon its wireless carrier?

Answer: |
Some carriers use network technologies not shared by the majority of the carriers worldwide. iPhones that are designed for use on the carrier’s with limited networks typically have a lower value. |

Will I always receive the quoted value?

Not always. Upon receipt of your device, if we find that your self-assessment was different from that of our trained operatives, we will adjust the price accordingly. You will receive a notification of this adjustment along with details about why the value is different. |

Do I have to send my SIM card along with my device?

No, you must remove your SIM card, as these are non-returnable. If a SIM card is still in your device, it will be destroyed immediately upon receipt to protect any personal data. |

Likewize pays for the shipping from your address to our Likewize Facility. If the device is returned to you, there is also no cost to you for the shipment. |

How do I send my device to you?

You have two options:
- 1. Select the recommended option to have a complimentary Return kit shipped to you.
- 2. Select the option to use your own packaging and print the prepaid shipping label associated with your Quote ID at the end of the transaction. If you choose to use your own packaging, please make sure your device is adequately protected to ensure it is not damaged while in transit.

a. In the case of iPhone, iPad and Non-IOS Smartphone / tablets, We do not require the device charger or cable
b. In the case of Mac, we do not require the device charger or cable.
c. PC Product, please provide only the core hardware of notebook or desktop, no peripherals i.e Mouse or Keyboard need be included
d. In the case of Apple Watch we do not require the device charger, cable or band.

What if I send my device after the quote expiration?

If your device is received at the Likewize facility after your quote has expired, you will receive a revised quote for the device based on the current trade-in price and condition of your device. |

If the device is in a different condition than originally stated then we will send you an electronic gift card within 48 working hours of the revised value being accepted. |
